N. singalana x lowii – assorted clones

Sept 2025 – now available at larger sizesfor the very first time! As this cross matures, we’re seeing unusually pronounced bristles appearing on the underside of the lids that are far more robust than on most N. lowii hybrids. All clones we have seen so far resemble the photos here with attractive colour gradients along the tendrils and a splash of yellow under the lids.Last returned:Sept 2025.History:First introduced in Oct 2021.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is N. singalana, which is our clone #5 selected from a grex of seed-raised plants for its superlative colouration. The male parent is a seed-raised N. lowii, with our Collection ID# 0410 and is the same specimen that has travelled around the world and been shown many times on exhibits such as the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court, Singapore Garden Festival, and also shown by Sir David Attenborough in several of his documentaries.Source:A random selection from a large number of different clones.Photo notes:Photos are of representative clones and may not be identical to plants shipped.
