Description

Returning for Jan 2026 after many years! Returning for Jan 2026 after many years! This cross is most unusual, since the female parent,Nepenthes merrilliana, is one of the largest species in the genus and the male parent,Nepenthes glabrata, is possibly the smallest. The interesting part, and the reason we made this cross, is that both pitchers have unusually globose lower pitchers and the result has turned out as we hoped. As a lowland-highland cross, this is classified as an ‘intermediate´ grower, which means it will grow well in a wide range of temperatures.History:First introduced in April 2018.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.Source:From a single carefully selected clone.Photo notes:The nursery shots shown here are of the same clone as plants shipped. The last photos in the series show plants of typical sale sizes in order of size S, M & L (when available).
