This cross is most unusual, since
the female parent,Nepenthes merrilliana,
is one of the largest species in the genus and the male parent,Nepenthes glabrata, is possibly the
smallest. The interesting part, and the reason we made this cross, is that both
pitchers have unusually globose lower pitchers and the result has turned out as
we hoped.As a lowland-highland cross, this
is classified as an ‘intermediate´ grower, which means it will grow well in a

Climate:'Intermediate', which means it will flourish in a wide range of temperatures. We have tested it from 12 - 32 deg. C (54 - 90 deg. F), although it will tolerate temperatures outside this range.
