A small plant with few filiform rhizoids that bear numerous short papillose branches, featuring a yellow corolla.
Distribution & habitat
Native to the swampy ground by streams and wet sandy savanna of Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guinea, Brazil, and Paraguay, growing from sea level up to 1,250 m.
Conservation
Assessed as Least Concern (LC) on the IUCN Red List.
