Morphology
The species is differentiated by having a lamina with 2–3 longitudinal veins parallel with the midrib, an orbicular lid with a non-bifid spur tip, a triangular lid appendage, short banner-shaped wings below the peristome that cover only a sixth of the trap's anterior (eventually becoming ridges towards the trap base), and an absent upper pitcher rim that is widest near the peristome.
Distribution & habitat
Endemic to the tropical upper montane rainforest of Mt. Candalaga in Maragusan, Davao de Oro, eastern Mindanao, Philippines, at altitudes ranging from 1800 to 2100 meters above sea level.
