Description

New introduction for Feb 2026! This is a dream cross betweenNepenthes x ‘trusmadiensis’, one of the largest and most spectacular of all natural hybrids andNepenthes robcantleyi, itself one of the largest species in the genus. We waited a long time to create this cross, harvesting the first seed in Feb 2016, originally introducing it as a very limited number of seed-grown plants through our wholesale auctions between June 2020 and Feb 2021. It was then released under BE-4022 as a random assortment of clones in March 2025. in the meantime we  have beencarefully isolating some of the best clones. This is the first such release, being clone #4, so all plants will look like the photos and videos shown here. The correct scientific name for this cross isNepenthes (lowii x macrophylla) x robcantleyi. The female parent isN. x trusmadiensiscreated and raised in our nurseries and the male parent is the giant blackN. robcantleyi, with the cultivar name ‘King of Spades’.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.Source:From a single carefully selected clone.Photo notes:The nursery shots and videos shown here are of the same clone as plants shipped.
