Description
Returning for Oct 2024
This is a particularly robust cross and being of highland-lowland origin, it is temperature tolerant and easy to grow. As you can see from some of the photos, it easily produces cascades of large pitchers. Over several years, we carefully selected three different colour forms of this cross, each from a different grex of seeds using a different N. ampullaria parent. They are marketed under three different BE-codes, as each are completely distinct. The other two items are BE-3881 and BE-4053. This item is of a single clone with solid red pitchers.History:First introduced in Aug 2021.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics from specimen parent plants. The female parent is a seed-raised N. spathulata. The male parent is a selected clone (formerly CR-22) of N. ampullaria ‘Brunei Red’, sold previously with the assorted clones under BE-3012.Source:From a single carefully selected clone out of microprop.Photo notes:Plants shipped are of the same clone as shown in these photos.Climate:Intermediate
