This is a particularly robust cross and being of highland-lowland origin, it is temperature tolerant and easy to grow. As you can see from some of the photos, it easily produces cascades of large pitchers. Over several years, we carefully selected three different colour forms of this cross, each from a different grex of seeds using a differentNepenthes ampullariaparent. They are marketed under three different BE-codes, as they are completely distinct from one another. The other two items are BE-3881 and BE-4053. This item is a mixture of two identical looking clones with solid lime-green pitchers.History:First introduced in March 2021.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.Source:A random mixture of two different but similar-looking clones. The female parent is our best selected clone of N. spathulata, sold under BE-3174 and with our Collection ID# 0440. The male parent is a red form of the Brunei N. ampullaria, formerly sold as CR-47.Photo notes:Photos here are of one or other of the two clones comprising this item.
