Returning for Sept 2024Now available in larger sizes. This is a large, showy cross, which produces very large pitchers, some of which have an interesting, veined texture, as can be seen in the photos.History:Introduced to cultivation in Oct 2020 on ourwholesale auctionsand put on general release through our network of distributors for the first time in Dec 2021.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is a seed-grown specimen of the highly vigorous N. ventricosa x sibuyanensis. The male parent is a giant and exceptionally black N. robcantleyi, which is one of the original six and has the cultivar name ‘King of Spades’. This is a great cross as the photos show, and is truly eye-catching. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg. F) in the daytime, down to 12 deg. C (54 deg. F) at night, although it will certainly tolerate temperatures well outside this range.
