Description

Updated for Feb 2026! Updated for Feb 2026! A hugely impressive species that never fails to attract admirers, with its broad heart-shaped leaves and tough enormous pitchers.  It’s a reliable grower, being adaptable to a range of conditions. This is probably a lowland or intermediate form, producing large and extremely robust woody pitchers.History:First introduced in Nov 2019.Origin:Horticultural.Source:This particular item was donated in-vitro by Singapore Botanic gardens, hence ‘SBG’ in the title. Nothing else is known about its provenance. We had assumed that it was most likely a lowland form, but it grows well for us in our highland nurseries, so we have since designated it as an intermediate grower.Photo notes:Plants shipped are of the same clone as shown in these photos. The last photos in the series show plants of typical sale sizes in order of size S, M & L (when available).
