Limited availability The upper pitchers of both parent species are unusual and highly attractive. Nepenthes burbidgeae has beautiful, elegant upper pitchers, while the upper pitchers on N. platychila are uniquely flared, or flanged. Both videos are linked above, and the photos also show the lovely upper pitchers on this cross. The lower pitchers, too, are unusual.Last returned:May 2025History:First introduced in March 2018.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is N. burbidgeae, selected for its typical cream-colored characteristics from the assorted clones sold under BE-3041, and the male parent is N. platychila, selected for vigour from the assorted clones sold under BE-3266.Source:A random selection from a large number of different clones.Photo notes:Photos are of representative clones and may not be identical to plants shipped. The last photos in the series show plants of typical sale sizes in order of size S, M & L (when available).Climate:This is a highland item. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg.
