Description
This is a particularly robust cross and, being of highland-lowland origin, it’s both temperature-tolerant and easy to grow. As you can see from some of the photos, it easily produces cascades of large pitchers. Over many years, we carefully selected three different colour forms of this cross, each from a different grex of seeds using a different N. ampullaria parent. They are marketed under three different BE-codes, with the other two items being BE-4050 and BE-4053. This clone has pitchers which are burgundy-speckled on a lime-green background.Last returned:June 2025History:First introduced in March 2018.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is the selected clone of N. spathulata sold under BE-3174 and with our Collection ID# 0440. The male parent is a ‘Harlequin’ form of the Brunei N. ampullaria, formerly sold as CR-33.Source:From a single carefully selected clone.Photo notes:Plants shipped are of the same clone as shown in these photos. The last photos in the series show plants of typical sale sizes in order of size S, M & L (when available).Climate:This is an intermediate growing item, which means it will flourish in a wide variety of temperatures. We have tested it between 32 deg. C (90 deg. F) and 12 deg. C (54 deg. F), although it may also tolerate temperatures outside this range.
