Description

This vibrantly coloured species has distinctive toilet-shaped pitchers. The name ‘jamban’ is derived from the Indonesian word for toilet. It’s a wonderfully beautiful and elegant species. Although quite a slow grower, it’s not particularly difficult. As can be seen from the photos and videos linked above, the pitchers hang in wonderful clusters. We are very proud to have been the first to introduce this species to cultivation from a sustainable source. This is the first grex we produced and uses different parent plants to the grex #2 offered under BE-4667 from March 2025.Last returned:Mar 2025History:First introduced in Sept 2016 under BE-3726, as a random assortment of clones out of microprop.
