Originating from the Hose Mountains of Sarawak, this species has rarely been observed in its remote and inaccessible natural habitat. As the name suggests, Nepenthes glandulifera has numerous nectar glands which appear over the entire plant. The glands exude a sweet-smelling nectar, probably to attract crawling insects, and the honey-like small is often noticeable in a greenhouse environment. It’s a robust plant, and its thick leaves, as well as the tendrils and pitchers, are covered with hairsThis item was bred in-house from seed-raised parent plants and is the world’s first sustainable source for this charismatic species.History:First introduced in March 2018.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics from specimen parent plants.Source:Random selection from a huge number of different but similar-looking clones.Photo notes:Photos are of representative clones and may not be identical to plants shipped.Climate:Intermediate
