WIP N. spectabilis x veitchii - assorted clones

Updated for April 2026 Updated for April 2026 This highly spectacular cross is particularly enjoyable, as it’s easy to grow and produces large, showy pitchers with gorgeous peristomes. Although quite variable in appearance between individuals, we’ve yet to see one that isn’t lovely! Unlike many Nepenthes, the upper pitchers on this item seem to remain just as colourful as the lower.History:First introduced in July 2015.Origin:Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.Source:A random selection from a huge number of different clones. The female parent is a selected clone of our amazing giant N. spectabilis, sold under BE-3178, and the male parent is a selected clone of the Bario form of N. veitchii, sold under BE-3205. This item differs from BE-3636 released in Aug 2014, in that it’s from a different grex of seeds using a different male parent.Photo notes:Photos are of representative clones and may not be identical to plants shipped. Climate:'Highland'. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg. F) in the daytime, down to 12 deg. C (54 deg. F) at night, although it will certainly tolerate temperatures well outside this range.
