Nepenthes mirabilis ‘Winged’ — prominent lateral wings and fringed peristome
About
The Winged form of Nepenthes mirabilis is characterised by prominent lateral wings running the length of the pitcher and a fringed, ornate peristome. The wings are well-developed compared to typical mirabilis, giving the pitcher a distinctly three-dimensional, sculptural appearance. This form is widespread in lowland Southeast Asia and is popular among collectors for its more dramatic pitcher structure relative to standard N. mirabilis.
