A perennial tuberous sundew, *Drosera fimbriata* is notable for its distinct growth habit, featuring non-carnivorous leaves on the lower stem and a concentration of carnivorous leaves in the upper whorls.
Field notes
Morphology
The plant grows to 10 to 15 cm tall and exhibits two or three whorls of non-carnivorous leaves on the lower portion of the stem, followed by two to five whorls of carnivorous leaves above that.
Distribution & habitat
Endemic to Western Australia, with populations found around Manypeaks, near the Scott River, and near Denmark.
History & etymology
First formally described by Larry Eugene DeBuhr in 1975.
